Podcasting is a great way for students to create and share technology programs for students, staff, and community.  Podcasting can be done using either a PC or Mac platform.  Within the course we will provide options for both methods. 

Even though the intent of the TECHS course is to remain platform neutral, we are making the suggestion that schools have a podcast center featuring a macintosh computer as the platform of use.  Currently the macintosh comes with Garageband, a mac program that enables students to create an enhanced podcast.  Included in the software are numerous copyright free audio music tracks in support of a podcast presentation.

Listed below is the hardware and software that will support both a Mac and PC podcast solution.
