TECHS Virtual Conference Flyer | TECHS 2008-09 Recap

TECHS Virtual Conference:  The purpose for this end of the year virtual conference is to highlight TECHS team projects and share about new trends in technology.  The conference targets TECHS schools but is also open to any schools who are interested in participating in an activity based technology workshop. 

Participation Requirements:
  • Any Nebraska high school student technology team with a teacher sponsor may participate.
  • As the event will last the entire morning, students should make arrangements with other teachers to allow them to participate in the entire workshop.
  • As the event will be streamed, each site must have an adequate connection to the internet.  It is suggested that you connect one computer to an LCD projector to display the streamed event.
  • Each participating student should have access to a computer allowing them to complete the student follow up activities.
  • Teachers at schools interested in participating in the virtual conference should register for the TECHS Virtual Conference by going to http://odie.esu10.org ;
  • After registering for the conference, you teacher will receive an email with pre-conference activities.  Please complete the required pre-registration activities to insure that your students and their computers are prepared to complete the scheduled activities.  Included in the pre-conference activities will be a test connection to insure that you can see and hear the streaming site.
